4-ton boxcar, peaked roof

Freelanced boxcar, done in the style of the 4-wheel flat cars on this page. Link and pin couplers; hand brakes only. Supports ProtoLARS and has 5 random textures. Initially set up for old west general goods or MLOG camp goods, but should fit just about any similarly sized product.

The body has three levels of detail; 1886 / 1144 / 343 polygons.

Updated July 13 2015: model and texture updates and optimizations.

Version: TS 12 and later

Source files - including GMAX and texture files for both the body and the trucks (19MB)

4-ton boxcar, round roof

Freelanced boxcar, done in the style of the 4-wheel flat cars on this page. Link and pin couplers; hand brakes only. Supports ProtoLARS and has 5 random textures. Initially set up for old west general goods or MLOG camp goods, but should fit just about any similarly sized product.

The body has three levels of detail; 1938 / 1172 / 352 polygons

Updated July 13 2015: Added normal maps; texture improvements; minor optimizations.

4-ton flat car

Used by the Eureka Mill railroad. Link and pin couplers; hand brakes only. Supports ProtoLARS. Initially set up for old west general goods or MLOG camp goods.

The body has three levels of detail; 1504 / 856 / 284 polygons

Updated July 13 2015: Added normal map; more details, improved texture, and some minor optimizations.

Version: TS 12 and later

4-ton ore car

Used by the Eureka Mill railroad. Link and pin couplers; hand brakes only. Supports bulk products and ProtoLARS. Uses ARN automatic car numbering script to randomly number the cars between 1 and 99. Although the EMRR only had 10 of these cars, I set the numbering higher so they might be of more use on other people's routes. Includes 5 different textures, randomly selected.

The body has four levels of detail; 1892 / 1224 / 378 / 152 polygons

Updated July 13, 2015: Fixed TANE error; improved shadows, minor optimizations

Version:  TS 12 and later.
