Hi guys,
Got a problem and don't know where to look or how to go about finding it. It's a new thing to me.
Norm and I are building a... well, it's gonna be a surprise shortly... Problem is, the driving wheels slip, turn too fast when the loco starts moving. My guess is that the ratio versus the wheel diameters is incorrect, (The wheels are a third party bogey. bog0 and bog1, btw.).
Can I adjust this? Is this in a gs file or the config file of the bogeys?
Help...
Thanks,

Take the diameter in inches. Multiply by 3.14. Multiply by 2.54. Divide by 100. Change the animdist tag to match your maths. Let me know who made the bogey so I can point and laugh (especially if it is my own bogey).
Also, if you have direct-drive set to '1', change it to '0'. There's a bug in earlier versions of TRS that ignores the animdist with this tag set and when in cab mode.
Thanks, Ben and Curtis.
Nope, not your bogeys, Ben...
Jayo, there my be an official 'showing' this weekend. No promises as of yet, though. Ya do know it's gonna be old and in 3 foot gauge with a lot of old wood on it, right?
OOOOOOooooooo....I love surprises. let's see.....
Has powered bogeys (Driving wheels that slip...)
Lotsa wood and is old (MoW equipment...)
36ng (and Norm is helping) Could be a re-gauged Shay, 20 ton perhaps.
Direct-Drive=1 (or=0) A change, Hmmm, MoW that is(was) powered that pulls a short consist.
Maybe an old Speeder......??????
Soon we'll see
