Again, I know we're not using the same app but does this help?

I really don't know what this is all about...

Thanks,

Ok folks, all done as far as putting it all together goes. This will be the final release as soon as I can get the other issues resolved.

My very own first asset for Trainz!

Thanks, everybody, for all the help you could give.

Anybody wanting to 'play' with it 'as is' can DL it here,

EDIT: Solved the lighting/glowing issue. (Yippee!) Next is the ground level issue and then she's ready to go with a little skinnin' touch up,

He he... (I'm rather proud of myself. Can ya tell?)

That step rock and step log brings this baby in at 452 polys. And, I trimmed them both down quite a bit...

Have fun!

Well, come on. How did you fix the glowing problem? Like the sign, and the rock and log are a nice touch. Good work, so what formats can you import?
Norm

Nevermind, saw your posts on the Auran forum.

Hey Rick
I wanted that thing and couldn't get it.
Check the link for the download. It comes back saying "Sorry, the page you requested was not found."
It came from Yahoo.

Norm,
It was all in the adjustments/options in that above post where I circled those items in red. Check out my post at Auran. It's all explained there.
It works really great in the game now.

Can you read this?

Ken,
Link is fixed. Go for it, buddy.

NOTE: I rewrote the config file including the kuid number so if anybody has ANY earlier versions, I would delete them and use the one I just posted and fixed the link to.

Only issue left is the 'ground level'. As soon as I can figure that out, it's gonna be released. Been messin' around with it for the past couple hours but to no avail.

Sheesh! It's after 5! I gotta go to bed...

Have fun!

I'm going to give this a shot. It looks like it stands okay if you just "put it on the ground". However, if you want to move it up or down just a little once it is placed, add the following to the config file, somewhere near the top :

height-range -10,10

Any range amount will do, just plug in your own numbers.
If your building is sitting too low initially, I'm not sure how to fix that.

Ken
PS - Rick, check your e-mail.

Hi all,
As mentioned above, I completely rewrote the config file and added that line also.
I'm happy with the textures and the config file as it stands and am using it myself on my route as is.
Does anyone have issues when installing it into '06? Other then the ground level issue, that is...

Thanks,

:D

Yee Haa!!! (That stands for, "gosh, I'm really excited about figerin' it out," in Mississippian)
The model comes in at ground level, now. Yippie!

I'll get it up and posted in all the usual places ASAP...

Enjoy,

Looking foward to them. Guess you can't import a gmax scene. Too bad.

It is 100% possible to do that.

I just got to looking at my own possible imports. I see the .dst format. Hmmm. Although I lost everything in my fire, I believe I may be able to recover some of my old stuff from MSTS and TSM. I'll have to contact a couple of folks to try to get a few of my 'things' back.
I made an animated water tank I'd love to put into Trainz. Hmmm...

Sometimes I'm a little slow on the uptake, can't see my nose in front of my face. How exactly would you go about that, Ben?
