Re: Rollins Pass NG36

I think Meridous' 3' boxcars on TPR are industry interactive. Sadly I can not find these railcars on TPR. I have all of Meridous' boxcars, I'll try putting some NG36 trucks under them and see what I get. LOL EDIT: Yay! Found the NG36 boxcars, I needed to use different search criteria. Thanks trainb...

Re: Rollins Pass NG36

Thanks trainboi, most all of the credit goes to jango. I was really surprised when he offered to release this as freeware since it is one of TrainzItalia's payware routes. But I guess with Donner Pass coming up and since the Rollins Pass Winter is still payware and West from Denver they have some mo...

Re: North Tahoe Narrow Gauge

Well I took a look at the S&M #4 sounds and copying in the sound folder does help but there are yet more sound wav files missing. "sound/5mph.wav" "sound/7p5mph.wav" ... "sound/20mph.wav" Seven total, I spent some time searching for these with no luck. I suspect tha...

Re: North Tahoe Narrow Gauge

Good morning trainboi1, I think I have the script error solved for your A6. What I did was remove the sound setup section of the steamlocomotive0905.gs believing that this was an old script and that its functionality had been incorporated into N3V's world.gs in some fashion. Here is what you do; Rem...

Re: North Tahoe Narrow Gauge

The locomotive I got the sound folder from was cincysouthernrwy's "Southern Ms-1 2-8-2 6285" <kuid:45588:4796> It appears that it is a repaint of Ben Neal's USRA 2-8-2 light but an older version than is currently available on his site now. (you might want to look at the script files there)...

Re: North Tahoe Narrow Gauge

I wasn't very happy with the sound fix above so I did a bit more research. Looking at the sound file's dependants I discovered that bdaneal, tbryson, and pencil42 had all used that sound file and that their implementation script was noticeably different. Poking around in some of the other locomotive...

Re: North Tahoe Narrow Gauge

OK trainboi1 after considerable head scratching I think I have figured out the sound error. A6_3.jpg Looking at this error it dawned on me that it might be a spelling error or a pathway error but, in looking in the sound dependancy, I found no spelling error. I then tried removing the path "sou...

Re: North Tahoe Narrow Gauge

Looks wonderful trainboi1! Can you/will you/ have you done a non-Daylight skin? As near as I can figure out the A6 was a workhorse of the SP local passenger service and all the photographs I've found so far show her without the Daylight livery. Edit: Yay! Now on the black pages! It turns out there a...

Re: Playing with Blender

I'm one of those "as built" kinda guys, brass hand rails seem likely to me. Not that I know anything. V. C. & T. ??? C arson City or C omstock??? Umph, one thought in looking at the museum pictures; the handrails seem to be mounted more inboard on the curve of the tender body...

Re: Four Projects

The fourth project is related to the 2-4-0, on the technical side: I wrote a brand new e-spec for the Baldwin 2-4-0. The e-spec is based off the Baldwin specifications and everything has been recalculated to give the locomotive a prototypical hauling capability. Once I have this tuned correctly I w...

Re: North Tahoe Narrow Gauge

Sadly it is missing things like fuel, sounds, etc. although he did come up with a great solution for the front drag bar.

Still it is the only Mason engine in trainz that I know of and I believe it is the only US Bogie type engine too.

Last night I was doing some testing on other projects and I was pleased to see that Colusa & Lake #2 is now available from the Download Station. 8) Oh, nice! togog really does a fine job of modeling engines but I think he upped his game on this one. Very nice! http://img163.imageshack.us/img163...

Re: Four Projects

Hum... the weeds?
That tender looks different from anything I've seen, I think.
This is narrow gauge right? Then the engine is new too...
Maybe the flatcar?
