Re: The Colusa & Lake (36ng) for Trainz
I just remembered, one of the first routes I tried to make sessions for was the 1880's Old West Route. In that the author used Wagon Track which is actually a track not a scenery spline. Looks very nice IMO.

Vincentrh has some nice macadam roads and his other roads are interesting.
Your route is looking very nice indeed.

Re: Playing with Blender
Thanks Curtis, no hurry. I just have a slew of these sheds scattered about a half dozen routes and having some variety would be nice. I guess I must have hallucinated the 36" bogies for the Porters since I've been through your site three or four times now with no luck. However, my main impetus ...

Re: The Colusa & Lake (36ng) for Trainz
I recently got all hot and bothered about wood burning narrow gauge logging locomotives and discovered these, normhart_20130510_0001.jpg They are both the 36" gauge E&P Eureka locomotive. The one on the left is by bdaneal and the one on the right is by togog. I don't know if either would fi...

Re: Playing with Blender
Hey Curtis, I noticed these on the DLS and they are great! normhart_20130510_0000.jpg but... not to look a gift shed in the mouth, is there any way you could resurrect the old version with the wood stacked neatly as a new kuid? Perhaps with a red roof to match your other yard sheds? On another subje...

Re: Turntable in progress
Oh yes, much much better. Thanks Curtis!
(sorry for the delay in replying. I've been doing a lot of yard work. Real life yard work, like in the backyard, not a train yard)

Re: Turntable in progress
Oh, yes the dark shading was what I was refering to. Looks like the texture is smearing and it does extend beyond the pit ground and is noticable in the board boarder and outer ground once the eye is drawn to it.

Re: Turntable in progress
Looks and works great but there is one problem, as you can see in your own in game pictures and in my last one there is a distinct black line at right angles to the turntable itself. This is rather obvious in distant views and does not seem to be present in your other turntables.

Re: Turntable in progress
Oh that's nice. Looks very much like the A-frame turntable used here in Calistoga around the turn of the century.

Re: Caboose No 9 Download
Hi Bruce, I recommend Curtis' Track 60lb if you are modeling a railroad from 1860-1900. It is a very, very nice track, by far my favorite right now.

Re: The Lyon, Ormsby and Storey
I turned up a couple of more photos of the "Napa". This one is believed to be from her time with the Sierra Nevada Wood and Lumber Co. (near Truckee) http://img715.imageshack.us/img715/7267/image1mz.jpg And this one is from her time with the San Joaquin Valley Coal Mining Co. as is the lar...

Re: The Colusa & Lake (36ng) for Trainz
Ah, it turns out that Trainz does support "any angle billboards" which is what I was suggesting for Sutters Butte and possibly the far Coastal Range hills and Sierra Nevada. http://forums.auran.com/trainz/showthread.php?90735-UltraScenery-Proudly-Announces-quot-Any-Angle-quot-32-Poly-Billb...
