Re: The Mojave & Panamint Railroad

Great!

Yes I have all of Prowler901's stuff in TANE I'll check the RGS #20 and see if it is drivable. I have not test drove most of them.

Re: YVRR Jan 2014

Well looking at the trunk of the Auran "Tree Conifers" they look very much like sugar pines, at least the bark is pretty close, the pine cones not so much. Height is a little short at only 60 meters. I'll stick a flock of them up at the top of the incline and see what they look like....

Re: YVRR Jan 2014

I downloaded both the YVRR Jan 2014 and the Yosemite Valley RR v1 and the bridges are broken in both. In fact I have been unable to find any difference between the two so far. I also found a map of the northern incline's connected rail lines. http://yosemitevalleyrailroad.com/Maps/YLCo.NoSide.jpg Qu...

Re: YVRR Jan 2014

I have the YVRR operable in TANE, but am revising a lot of the trees. I downloaded it and Sierra directly into TANE with little problem except all the missing assets. Trainboi1 are you seeing any signaling? I'm not sure it that is one of the missing assets. I've been looking at some lever and rod o...

Re: YVRR Jan 2014

At this point I haven't changed anything except the bridges. The missing assets irritate me, I mean download a 600+ MB file to get a fire hydrant, I don't think so. Send an email to get certain assets from a creator that won't put them on a website or on the DLS, really? That's nuts! All in all a co...

Re: YVRR Jan 2014

Gads, I had not realized anyone had completed the Sierra route either!

How cool is that? And ballcd included the connection to West Side. Ummm.

Good heavens, it is only 49 miles between Oakdale and Merced. UMMMMM!

YVRR Jan 2014

I am always surprised when I find a new route that I had no idea was even on the DLS. This route was even more of a surprise than most. I've been seeing bendorsey's rolling stock for the route for ages and I had also noted his many bridges, industries, and buildings for the route and I've wondered w...

One thing. What is going to happen to the stuff hosted here? Near as I can figure PNG doesn't host.

Re: Trainz in the Calico Mountains: Sunrise Canyon/Palm Borate

Do you happen to know the color of the striping on the domes?

BTW PCB you are doing a wonderful job on the desert vegetation.

Re: Trainz in the Calico Mountains: Sunrise Canyon/Palm Borate

Me too, and thank goodness you were able to recover the route.

The locomotives look great but I'm of the "locomotives were never gray" crowd so I would think they would be a bit more like black.

Just my opinion and I seem to be in the minority.

Re: North Tahoe Narrow Gauge

My only cravat about togog's locomotives is his lack of scripting, most don't have water, coal/woodfuel, sand, or ash nor do they have scripted front couplers but boy are they gorgeous!

Up to you Curtis but I'll miss this place.

I do have to say I can't see discussion of early Central Pacific or Union Pacific being welcome there.

Re: North Tahoe Narrow Gauge

Oh, excellent, that clears that up nicely and means that in all likelihood first half of Cal.P.'s locomotives were in the blue livery and the second later half might have been in green. I rather favored the blue scheme shown on the cover of Mason Steam Locomotives by A. W. Wallace of the Bogie San J...
