The posted pictures and videos really do look good. Going to have to bite the bullet, download and spend a weekend.

Re: 1920s stuff

Trainz is getting very close to the point where I will give up modeling outside of Trainz. And Curtis, you are leading the way. Those are some truly beautiful and detailed photos.

Looking forward to your presentation.

Re: North Tahoe Narrow Gauge

Now your talking. I have long been a fan of Mr. A. J. Stevens 'El Gobernador'. The original Central Pacific Super Power engine. I read that they would parade the engine past the inbound passengers from the east just to show off the biggest engine in the world.

Re: North Tahoe Narrow Gauge

I agree; they are looking fantastic! and I am also eagerly awaiting release.

As for the speed 9MPH might be close to prototypical. I recently read that freight trains on the V&T (C&C parent company) were limited to 12MPH!

Re: (36NG) C&TL&FCo. 22' Flatcar

I started thinking about the disposition of some of the CTL&F cars and remembered that some had gone to the C&C which led me to Robert Bader's fine book "Southern Pacific Narrow Gauge Locomotives and Freight Equipment". Sure enough on page 216 is a drawing by Mr. Darr of the C&C #105. There is a bit...

Re: (36NG) C&TL&FCo. 22' Flatcar

Where did you find the plans for the flatcar and trucks? I am putting together a f scale model of a train that included one of these cars with an auxillary water tank on it.

Thanks,
John

Re: A couple new stub switches (TS2006+)

Curtis, Any luck figuring out what was/is wrong with the stub switches in TS12? I played around with them a bit and found that the wye would work but the three way and the left and right would derail. Messing around in the editor i managed to mess them up royally and now can't get them to show the m...
